Josué Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evert Mellberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Josué Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. Urtzi Zamorano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Evert Mellberg made a huge save. In the 34th minute of the match, Maxin Ceberiche tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evert Mellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute Spor Las Huevas were awarded a corner. Urtzi Zamorano went to the cornerflag to take it. Urtzi Zamorano made a great header on Spor Las Huevas's corner, it was just that The Lions's Evert Mellberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Ascencio Sotelo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by The Lions's Iustin Braniște. But to his dismay, Iustin Braniște quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.

Spor Las Huevas made a substitution. Caio Hornilla replaced Urtzi Zamorano. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio Hornilla to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Braniște in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
