An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Snaza in the 14th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fang Lang Mo in the 17th minute of play. Serafin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Joldea, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Gagriel in the 21st minute of play. Serafin Bernal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcin Snaza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute Marcin Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Mariusz Zgonina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafin Bernal. That made the score 2-2 after 41 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Gagriel in the 45th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fang Lang Mo in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fang Lang Mo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 84th minute Xepe Godan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Piwko came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Escalada's Natalio Gagriel. But to his dismay, Natalio Gagriel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Talleres de Escalada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
