Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Teofil Siwek sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Wiliam Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zbigniew Bielejewski. Borowa Rzeszów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 26 played minutes Borowa Rzeszów got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Siwek. Zbigniew Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiliam Perez's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Borowa Rzeszów's Zbigniew Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 31st minute of play.
