Alcides Berardo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. XENEIXES FC's Denis Chano got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gabriel Hauche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 32nd minute of the match. Maní FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after XENEIXES FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Hauche in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Kinic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of Maní FC booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Hauche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Damazy Kinic made a huge save. Gabriel Hauche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damazy Kinic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
