But to his dismay, Helge Almkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 94 minutes, Qu Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Söderbröder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qu Liang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
