The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Raphael hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Raphael during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donato Gamus made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedro Raphael. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Perrando in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Iacob Roman got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bambang Sagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bambang Sagala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cassaretto. Enrique Cassaretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Aznar in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Aznar came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Buendia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The wind increased when Enrique Cassaretto made the kick off in the second half. Bambang Sagala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Golden Dragon FC's Gustavo Aznar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Forsyth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th match minute, Golden Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Filipo to maneuver through the defense. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Aznar in the 59th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cassaretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD Municipal's Gunnar Ekrot was substituted for Zlatan Molina. Gustavo Aznar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. Golden Dragon FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after CD Municipal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Desiderio Etor took the corner. Desiderio Etor made a great header on Golden Dragon FC's corner, it was just that CD Municipal's George Forsyth managed to reach the ball for a save. With 69 minutes on the clock, Leonardo Alfonso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 71 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bambang Sagala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74th play minutes Enrique Cassaretto shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Bambang Sagala and just under the crossbar into goal. Bambang Sagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 81st minute of play forced Golden Dragon FC's goalkeeper Bambang Sagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Cassaretto scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bambang Sagala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bambang Sagala saved Golden Dragon FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Aznar got free with George Forsyth in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Golden Dragon FC's Bambang Sagala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Buendia in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Aureliano Buendia got a free kick in the 88th minute. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Dragon FC's zone, Enrique Cassaretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bambang Sagala came out of the goal and Enrique Cassaretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mosen Colillas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Municipal's protests and gave Mosen Colillas a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD Municipal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! 98 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bambang Sagala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
