The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breno Loyola to strike the kick off in the second half. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. But to his dismay, Gayle Leto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletic Club Araucaria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
