A sloppy throw-in by Betão Catarinense in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Karen FC's Rolando Estevez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliézer Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. Ma Yong Jun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliézer Cavalcante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliézer Cavalcante got free with Ma Yong Jun in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
