Mo Yi Sang started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Yi Sang in the 5th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Borja in the 9th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Borja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mo Yi Sang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Porfiro having to make a save. Santo Colas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo's Gigi Penaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Higinio Porfiro but with some difficulty. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mo Yi Sang sped through LA MAQUINA F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Higinio Porfiro. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Lorenzo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sérgio Berti was slow to take the kick. During this time LA MAQUINA F.C's players had a chance to rest. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Turi in the 26th minute of the match. Loco Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Martin Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Berasko to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Loco Borja reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matias Carlomagno. The goal made the score 2-1. Carlos Alberto Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Matias Carlomagno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Kara Melo. Mo Yi Sang struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Higinio Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Valentin Makovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 69th minute of the match. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Makovskiy in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Valentin Makovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Borja, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Mo Yi Sang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, LA MAQUINA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Colas to maneuver through the defense.
