Penuel Football Club's Furtado Ozaolaza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Bierunese's zone, Eduardo Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Kamps came out of the goal and Eduardo Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Bierunese's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Pereira came free, but Werner Kamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Werner Kamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Pereira in the 20th minute of play. If Nando Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Pereira in the 27th minute of play forced Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Hunfredo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Werner Kamps didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penuel Football Club. Eduardo Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Werner Kamps read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bierunese's goalkeeper Werner Kamps, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Penuel Football Club were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Bierunese's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Amato took the corner. After taking down the ball on Penuel Football Club's corner Nando Pereira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Werner Kamps quite easily take care of the ball. After 39 minutes, Nando Pereira made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bierunese's Werner Kamps tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Arnolds to make the kick off. Bierunese's Werner Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Pereira in the 55th minute of play. Nando Pereira took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Werner Kamps. Werner Kamps dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Werner Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Pereira in the 60th minute of the match. Nando Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Werner Kamps. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Pereira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Werner Kamps. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. With a little luck, Bierunese's Werner Kamps got control of the ball when Eduardo Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nando Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Werner Kamps was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Penuel Football Club's Pastor Gilesindo was substituted for Furtado Ozaolaza. In the 73rd minute of the game Nathan van Aalderen made a throw-in which Fonso van den Berg played forward. In the 81st minute, Nathan van Aalderen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
