The corner led Commander Crowe's Billy Wahlström to fire away a dangerous shot which Wlodzimierz Grondzki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Iwan Cieliczka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Fagerberg having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Grondzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Misaki in the 36th minute. The Commander Crowe fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Zurich had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
