In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Benavides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Ulloa in the 22nd minute of the match. Juan Benavides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Judas Verón went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that Maximiano Delgado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martín Ulloa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Raggio saved Belgrano de Pibasog from getting behind. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Juan Benavides was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Judas Verón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Judas Verón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and Judas Verón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Juan Benavides in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Judas Verón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Ulloa in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Judas Verón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Benavides. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Judas Verón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 57th minute Martín Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Benavides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Judas Verón went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Milosz Gabis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 65th minute of the match. With his leg Bernardo Raggio managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Martín Ulloa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Benavides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Grabowicz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Maximiano Delgado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Benavides quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juan Benavides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Ilinca's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Ilinca in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Escobar in the 83rd minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Iulian Ilinca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Benavides. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iulian Ilinca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Justino Frederico charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Frederico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Frederico to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Escobar in the 96th minute of play.
