Kaká Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute Dari Mana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Porros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Martins came free, but Juan Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Cevada's zone, Milosz Gabis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolis Porros came out of the goal and Milosz Gabis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Benavides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Martins in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Martins in the 11th minute of play forced ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Juan Benavides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Martín Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Porros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner. Humberto Escobar went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when Sport Club Cevada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Zander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Benavides made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ermano Villahoz sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Porros having to interfere. Apostolis Porros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Gabis in the 27th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermano Villahoz to make the kick off. Apostolis Porros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Benavides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Batista in the 54th minute of play. Apostolis Porros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Gabis in the 55th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martín Ulloa couldn't finish the play. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Batista in the 74th minute of play. Sport Club Cevada's Apostolis Porros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Cevada from getting a goal against them. The referee showed Diego Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sport Club Cevada getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Diego Neto hit a great ball. The Sport Club Cevada fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Sport Club Cevada's Ermano Villahoz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juan Benavides came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Cevada's Kaká Batista. But to his dismay, Kaká Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Kaká Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Benavides was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sport Club Cevada fans cheered their team off the field, for while ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
