Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Beliran, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Engström in the 19th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joxa mé trasan's Claudio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Raul Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Aznar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Laureano Beliran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Serafim Garcez in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Joxa mé trasan's Gabriel Lange. In the 34th minute of the match, Raul Leal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudio Aznar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SC Freiburg 09's Abílio Passos suffered a concussion after 39 minutes and had to leave the field. SC Freiburg 09's Anselmo Vilaça was substituted for Abílio Passos. Stasio Merski hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Stasio Merski hit a great ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Anselmo Vilaça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joxa mé trasan's Claudio Aznar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Leal made a kick off. Raul Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Vilaça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Raul Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes Joxa mé trasan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Ferit İsmet who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mehmet Ferit İsmet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Joxa mé trasan's Claudio Aznar did a great save. In the 66th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Engström to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Vilaça in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Raul Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Leal came free, but Claudio Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Martínez's late challenge caught a Joxa mé trasan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Martínez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Joxa mé trasan booed when SC Freiburg 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Martínez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
