Ivo Guterres made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Fred Flinta sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Joxa mé trasan's corner Ove Löfgren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivo Guterres quite easily take care of the ball. Ivo Guterres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Flinta in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Raul Leal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claudio Aznar. Raul Leal took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Aznar. Claudio Aznar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Lundin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Joxa mé trasan's zone, Mehmet Ferit İsmet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Aznar came out of the goal and Mehmet Ferit İsmet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raul Leal came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Freiburg 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Leal couldn't finish the play. Abílio Passos scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Aznar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SC Freiburg 09 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when SC Freiburg 09's Raul Leal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joxa mé trasan's Gabriel Lange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Serafim Garcez, made in the 38th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Flinta. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abílio Passos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Freiburg 09's Serafim Garcez got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Fred Flinta. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Abílio Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lucas Engström hit a great ball. Claudio Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joxa mé trasan's Claudio Aznar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 59th minute of play. Raul Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ove Löfgren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Joxa mé trasan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Freiburg 09:s goal. The goalkeeper, Claudio Aznar, was totally fooled by SC Freiburg 09's Mehmet Ferit İsmet, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joxa mé trasan's Gabriel Lange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Serafim Garcez, made in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th of the match, Raul Leal tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Claudio Aznar got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ludvig Ahlroth hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mehmet Ferit İsmet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Aznar. Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Aznar having to interfere. Mehmet Ferit İsmet, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Abílio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Aznar having to interfere. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Joxa mé trasan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Freiburg 09 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
