Christiano Mangueira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Aparecido came free, but Szczepan Adamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Elivélton Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambridge Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Elivélton Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ataulfo Diosdado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Kléber Rodrigues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Szczepan Adamus. Szczepan Adamus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Kellberg during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Ove Kellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Classon to strike the kick off in the second half. Säfvahöjden's Oliver Bergfelt got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Ataulfo Diosdado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ataulfo Diosdado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sérgio Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Classon came free, but Sérgio Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Sérgio Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Bergfelt. Zé Roberto Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Simon Igelström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cambridge Esporte Clube's Sérgio Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cambridge Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Kléber Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Adamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 95th minute of the match Ove Kellberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ove Kellberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ove Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The supporters of Cambridge Esporte Clube booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Igelström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Elivélton Aparecido shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szczepan Adamus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Säfvahöjden played a much better game than Cambridge Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Cambridge Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
