In the 4th minute Gustavo Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miloslav Rožnovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Ballester FC's Miloslav Rožnovský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Berdoi in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sylwester Domaradzki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Latarețu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Peder Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Latarețu having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Sylwester Domaradzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Ballester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Domaradzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes Brown de Adrogue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roth Beaudry who took care of the corner kick. Miloslav Rožnovský came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Brown de Adrogue's Gustavo Bonadona. But to his dismay, Gustavo Bonadona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Sylwester Domaradzki made a precise shot to the right of Moise Latarețu. Brown de Adrogue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogue's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Domaradzki came free, but Moise Latarețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Peixoto scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miloslav Rožnovský, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Didi Peixoto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Moise Latarețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Miloslav Rožnovský, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Sylwester Domaradzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Latarețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentino Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Sylwester Domaradzki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Moise Latarețu. The goal made the score 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sylwester Domaradzki made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Eriksson in the 51st minute of play forced Brown de Adrogue's goalkeeper Moise Latarețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Arias during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brown de Adrogue getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cirilo Arias hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Miloslav Rožnovský had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi Peixoto. Brown de Adrogue's Moise Latarețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Domaradzki in the 55th minute of play. Didi Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Gustavo Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Ballester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Domaradzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moise Latarețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Brown de Adrogue's Miloslav Rožnovský threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florentino Berdoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Brown de Adrogue's zone, Peder Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Latarețu came out of the goal and Peder Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miloslav Rožnovský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Bonadona in the 95th minute of the match. Villa Ballester FC's Miloslav Rožnovský proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. Brown de Adrogue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
