Jesus Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Alastair Howson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, one of Elizabeth Three Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elizabeth Three Lions FC. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Elizabeth Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cvetin Luković didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Törnblom in the 25th minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Jesus Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Ings came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Janne Katt could save by the left post. Elizabeth Three Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Sonstorps Fotboll's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cvetin Luković took the corner. Cvetin Luković made a great header on Elizabeth Three Lions FC's corner, it was just that Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt managed to reach the ball for a save. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny Ings was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some careless play in the Elizabeth Three Lions FC defense, Stig-Åke Molander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Satordi. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Satordi should have stopped the shot. Janne Katt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cvetin Luković in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Daniel Törnblom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Satordi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Janne Katt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cvetin Luković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jørg Heichendorff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jørg Heichendorff in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Satordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Richard Scholten notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Sonstorps Fotboll's Janne Katt. Janne Katt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Törnblom during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Cvetin Luković sped through Sonstorps Fotboll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janne Katt. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Cvetin Luković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janne Katt came out of the goal and Cvetin Luković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sonstorps Fotboll had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
