Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Damião in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Jerardo came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Santio in the 17th minute of play. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Egun in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pergamino's Baltasar Santio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Damião to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Carolo Jerardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Giovanni de Toledo, 0-3. Giovanni de Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Carolo Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
