After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Severino Guerra got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bunda Cagara hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match, Ernesto Damião got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta got a free kick in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Dias. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Minotauro's Paulinho Santos was substituted for Romeu Sousa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Warren FC - DMZ's Bunda Cagara in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led to Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Bernardo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Damião in the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Warren FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Nazário De Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giovanni de Toledo. That made the score 0-2 after 70 minutes of play. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 73rd minute of play. Tales Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Severino Guerra. In the 83rd minute, Cleiton Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giovanni de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 85th minute. Warren FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Minotauro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bunda Cagara took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bunda Cagara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giovanni de Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cleiton Duarte hit a great ball. Severino Guerra hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 93rd minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Carlos Augusto Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo got control of the ball when Giorgian Arrascaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Warren FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
