The audience thought a goal was coming when Asmund Rundkvist got free with Pedro Augusto Salgado in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Asmund Rundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Flórián Gera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rákóczifalva SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Flórián Gera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Borubar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asmund Rundkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Salgado made a huge save. Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmund Rundkvist in the 16th minute of play. The long shot by Quade Gorham in the 19th minute really tested Pedro Augusto Salgado's skills. Rákóczifalva SE were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after ECS FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vadim Spãtaru took the corner. Vadim Spãtaru made a great header on Rákóczifalva SE's corner, it was just that ECS FK's Arturo Borubar managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flórián Gera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, ECS FK's Quin Camaño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rákóczifalva SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quade Gorham was slow to take the kick. During this time ECS FK's players had a chance to rest. Quade Gorham made a great header on ECS FK's corner, it was just that Rákóczifalva SE's Pedro Augusto Salgado managed to reach the ball for a save. Quin Camaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Augusto Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gáspár Tulipán kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Davis Damasceno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Long Bin Xing fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ECS FK's protests and gave Long Bin Xing a yellow card for diving instead. If Vadim Spãtaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ECS FK had played much better football throughout.
