After taking down the ball on La Herradura FC's corner Efrain Gotzon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Checa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Depor Alex Return were awarded a corner. Felipe Indalecio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Felipe Indalecio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Herradura FC's You Sheng Qi did a great save. Federico Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Jony Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Depor Alex Return's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Herradura FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jony Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Federico Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Grillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Julio Domeka made a precise shot to the right of You Sheng Qi. La Herradura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Baldovino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Checa was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a little luck, La Herradura FC's You Sheng Qi got control of the ball when Armando Baraquiel tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Baldovino in the 35th minute of play forced Depor Alex Return's goalkeeper Federico Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes, Marian Brytan made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Depor Alex Return's Federico Checa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, La Herradura FC's Osvaldo Grillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Checa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Depor Alex Return's Armando Baraquiel got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Felipe Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Baldovino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Osvaldo Grillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Checa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Federico Checa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo Grillo scored 2-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Checa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Depor Alex Return's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Baldovino came free, but Federico Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Baldovino in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Checa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Checa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Grillo in the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match La Herradura FC got a corner. Depor Alex Return's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Baldovino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ernesto Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Federico Checa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Herradura FC. Ernesto Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Armando Baraquiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Herradura FC's You Sheng Qi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Armando Baraquiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but You Sheng Qi was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Depor Alex Return's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Baldovino came free, but Federico Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Federico Checa made a huge save. The Depor Alex Return fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Herradura FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
