In the 21stth minute of the game Lolo Acharan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Usureros CF's Reynardo Rubin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lolo Acharan sped through Usureros CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynardo Rubin. In the 24th minute, Aurelio Paredes made a precise shot to the right of Reynardo Rubin. Usureros CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Talcampeón FC from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes Talcampeón FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Renato Nevares who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Usureros CF's Severino Bruna to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Alberto Villa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reynardo Rubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Fritz in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartlomiej Michna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Fritz in the 35th minute of play forced Usureros CF's goalkeeper Reynardo Rubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynardo Rubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Vidma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Mauricio Vidma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynardo Rubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Román Ahrens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talcampeón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Román Ahrens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Usureros CF's Reynardo Rubin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yeray Necochea in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidencio Amurrio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynardo Rubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Fritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Usureros CF's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Fritz came free, but Reynardo Rubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
