The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Unai Sócrates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, The Charlatans's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Sócrates came free, but Ingvar Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 8th minute of the match. Unai Sócrates recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Åberg in the 14th minute of the match. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 董文鹰 in the 17th minute. Octav Zdraşcu made a great header on Fauna Utd's corner, it was just that The Charlatans's Ingvar Svensson managed to reach the ball for a save. After 26th play minutes Harald Karlsson shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Radamel Hendrickx and just under the crossbar into goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, The Charlatans's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Portugal came free, but Ingvar Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Karlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Radamel Hendrickx when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Karlsson made a kick off. Ingvar Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Sócrates's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. If Yuri Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 56th minute of play forced The Charlatans's goalkeeper Ingvar Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Svensson was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Yuri Portugal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yuri Portugal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when The Charlatans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yuri Portugal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Svensson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With his leg Ingvar Svensson managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 93 played minutes Pieterjan Anteunis rounded The Charlatans's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. After 95 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Pieterjan Anteunis. After 96 played minutes, The Charlatans's Simon Bäckman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Charlatans reached it. With his leg Ingvar Svensson managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match was over Fauna Utd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Charlatans throughout the match.
