Armindo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahim Sidam in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Ahmet Gökalp Cengel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Doğukan Keskinel hit a great ball. Duda Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romelio Lukaku went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Romelio Lukaku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Duda Viana made a huge save. Real Brasília FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierrot Uyttebroeck in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, Romelio Lukaku kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duda Viana. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duda Viana should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Yanick Winnepennincx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Real Brasília FC - DMZ made a substitution. Yoncho Spaskov replaced Yanick Winnepennincx. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rahim Sidam to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Uwe Askri made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Romelio Lukaku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Yoncho Spaskov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duda Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Real Brasília FC - DMZ's Uwe Askri got a free kick in the 94th minute. Real Brasília FC - DMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
