Samba Fotboll U21's Sam Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudius Marsching in the 11th minute of play. Claudius Marsching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sam Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Ostrowicki came free, but Sam Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Sam Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Heremans. After a rather tough play, Samba Fotboll U21's Ulf Löfkvist got a free kick in the 39th minute. Manuel Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sam Yang having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Claudius Marsching came free, but Sam Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Samba Fotboll U21's Sonny Mattsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sonny Mattsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Samba Fotboll U21 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sonny Mattsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Samba Fotboll U21! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Peres was the one to do the kick off. The De Gulden Draak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Anders Örn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Manuel Peres put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sam Yang. Sam Yang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Backes went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Sam Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Backes, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Claudius Marsching had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sam Yang. Samba Fotboll U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudius Marsching was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. De Gulden Draak walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
