An unexpectedly hard shot by Mostafa Muhammed in the 23rd minute of play forced Golden Generation's goalkeeper Turgay Şeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Golden Generation had won after a very even match.
