A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alfonso Andreozzi hit a great ball. Costin Alucai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Turgay Şeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Alucai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alex Enoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Golden Generation's Elivélton Cunha was substituted for Huang Rong. Golden Generation's Yorrick Hekman was substituted for Toni Delgado. Barnaba Ciborek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Balint having to interfere. Horea Balint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yorrick Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Costin Alucais short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Turgay Şeren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrizio Adriano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Turgay Şeren. That made the score 3-1 in the 81 minute of play. Horea Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Ciborek in the 86th minute of play. If Yorrick Hekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Adriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Winnicki to maneuver through the defense. Golden Generation's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
