Elvio Cameno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Tolga Tümkurt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tommie Vang kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tolga Tümkurt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boniel Alonso in the 14th minute. Tolga Tümkurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Novo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Rosalio Sauca could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Tolga Tümkurt however easily saved by the left post. Atlético de Candamil's Cesareo Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Owens in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Calderon in the 27th minute of play forced Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesareo Molina came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Strong Survive's Saul Owens. But to his dismay, Saul Owens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Saul Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boniel Alonso got free with Tolga Tümkurt in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Monroe Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Candamil's Rosalio Sauca got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Atlético de Candamil defense, Saul Owens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesareo Molina. The Atlético de Candamil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesareo Molina should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Atlético de Candamil were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
