An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Wrzosek in the 10th minute of play forced FC Pražští Pepíci's goalkeeper Jonáš Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Stenqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mümin Yenisey, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ovidiu Lăcătuș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clas Nørstrup's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonáš Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dolák came free, but Svante Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonáš Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clas Nørstrup's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Jonáš Rosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Åke Alebeck in the 29th minute. The corner led to FC Pražští Pepíci's Ovidiu Lăcătuș getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Söderhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Nyman to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Mümin Yenisey took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Svante Stenqvist to make any attempt to save it. Jonáš Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Alebeck in the 62nd minute of play. FC Pražští Pepíci's Sebastian Pieprz was substituted for Jan Dolák. After having played for 81 minutes, Zdeněk Franz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pražští Pepíci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdeněk Franz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Mümin Yenisey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axl Ares charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axl Ares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
