Wilfredo Figueroa came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frederico Vilalobos could save by the left post. Frederico Vilalobos was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Vassilis Vonortas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vassilis Vonortas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Luigi Harammes's zone, Truls Kirkemo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Vilalobos came out of the goal and Truls Kirkemo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Berbiz got free with Frederico Vilalobos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Figueroa in the 14th minute of play forced Luigi Harammes's goalkeeper Frederico Vilalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Vassilis Vonortas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frederico Vilalobos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frederico Vilalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Truls Kirkemo in the 19th minute. Frederico Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Berbiz in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Vassilis Vonortas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frederico Vilalobos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Mafra in the 24th minute of play. Frederico Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Truls Kirkemo sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes Luigi Harammes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Jähnigen who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to C.A. Calamuchita's Wilfredo Figueroa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Florian Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Frederico Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Truls Kirkemo sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vassilis Vonortas to strike the kick off in the second half. Frederico Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Vonortas in the 52nd minute of the match. Frederico Vilalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Vonortas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Vassilis Vonortas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When C.A. Bruno Mariotti's late challenge caught a C.A. Calamuchita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Mariotti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Luigi Harammes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Mariotti to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Figueroa in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Vilalobos saved Luigi Harammes from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Vassilis Vonortas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Frederico Vilalobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederico Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Truls Kirkemo in the 78th minute of play. Luigi Harammes's Frederico Vilalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Truls Kirkemo in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luigi Harammes's Wieslaw Petka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Luigi Harammes's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Berbiz came free, but Frederico Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Vilalobos having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Vassilis Vonortas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luigi Harammes's Frederico Vilalobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Braulio Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Vilalobos. Luigi Harammes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Calamuchita had won after a very even match.
