Ulf Skoog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Agapakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Kádár in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Babbis Kourentas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulf Skoog. The goal made the score 1-0. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Kádár in the 18th minute of play. Stamatis Ifantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Kádár in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Attila Kádár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Attila Kádár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stamatis Ifantis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes Stardust Unicorns XI got a freekick which was hit by Wen Zhi. Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ERGOTELIS defense, Attila Kádár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stamatis Ifantis. The ERGOTELIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stamatis Ifantis should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Attila Kádár made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Aimilios Agapidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERGOTELIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stardust Unicorns XI the free kick. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aimilios Agapidis hit a great ball. Attila Kádár's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Stamatis Ifantis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute Babbis Kourentas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Skoog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulf Skoog came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Agapakis. But to his dismay, Panagiotis Agapakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Aimilios Agapidis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Stamatis Ifantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Stardust Unicorns XI's Stamatis Ifantis threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Attila Kádár, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute, Attila Kádár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Benny Bennis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stardust Unicorns XI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ERGOTELIS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stardust Unicorns XI's Benny Bennis got a free kick in the 84th minute. Attila Kádár who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Stamatis Ifantis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Stardust Unicorns XI booed when ERGOTELIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Kourentas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Wu Chang Xiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the ERGOTELIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
