The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sandrinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Kádár in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Paulo Renato Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Frits Andriessen in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fast layne Fc's Bruninho Falcão. After 9 played minutes Stardust Unicorns XI got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Haitz. Ulf Skoog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wen Zhi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sandrinho Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Attila Kádár might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandrinho Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attila Kádár ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Fast layne Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Kádár came free, but Sandrinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wen Zhi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Fast layne Fc's Simon Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Skoog having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Brun in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Skoog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulf Skoog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 45th match minute, Fast layne Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Kádár, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Frits Andriessen made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frits Andriessen immediately put the ball in play. Paulo Renato Trevisan hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Sakis Mathioudakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Stardust Unicorns XI players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
