After a defensive mix-up in San Marino Thm's zone, Armando Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zilar Presedo came out of the goal and Armando Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovanni Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cuarto Charro in the 16th minute. Benjamim Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Benjamim Trancoso got a free kick in the 19th minute. Geovanni Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Pinho made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jhon Arias sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Jhon Arias in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Geovanni Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Geovanni Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

San Marino Thm's Olavo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, San Marino Thm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Lesiecki to maneuver through the defense. Jhon Arias scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ryan Reynolds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Geovanni Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cuarto Charro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the San Marino Thm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cuarto Charro couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Jhon Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Pinho. Macaco F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jhon Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jhon Arias in the 84th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
