Geovanni Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Filiberto Paternina made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Pinho. Macaco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 18 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when 麦坤竞 came free, but Geovanni Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Mauro Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Paternina took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. Geovanni Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Geovanni Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Mauro Bezerra put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Geovanni Pinho. Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦坤竞 in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Schuster's Mauro Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Filiberto Paternina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pinho having to interfere. Geovanni Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Musko Cuevas went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. After the first half Schuster were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Bezerra made a kick off. That made the score 0-12 after 59 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Filiberto Paternina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Mauro Bezerra took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. Geovanni Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. 68 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Bezerra. With 70 minutes on the clock, Benjamim Trancoso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Schuster made a substitution. Fernando Morientes replaced Musko Cuevas. In the 75th minute, Fernando Morientes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schuster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. Mauro Bezerra in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Pinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Schuster's Mauro Bezerra. But to his dismay, Mauro Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-20.
