After 9 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Lozano. Jesús Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Aysouraguán got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Gabas. Jaizki Valverde acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Angel Alvarenga. Jaizki Valverde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Jaizki Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Stan in the 16th minute of play. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Pionek in the 18th minute of play. Jaizki Valverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Alacuart made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jesús Casado however managed to control. After 22 minutes, Benvido Santalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aysouraguán and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Aysouraguán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benvido Santalla to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Jansson got free with Jaizki Valverde in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Aysouraguán getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Peter Alacuart hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Stan came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaizki Valverde. Jaizki Valverde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zico Zellier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaizki Valverde having to interfere. Jaizki Valverde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaizki Valverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aysouraguán's goalie prevented a goal. Ciprian Ştefoi charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciprian Ştefoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aysouraguán's Ciprian Ştefoi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. GuateFortín made a substitution. Pablo Mora replaced Máximo Perrone. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Aysouraguán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Ştefoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Pablo Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludomir Pionek got free with Nery Pumpido in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaizki Valverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 77th minute of play. If Sven-Edvin Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaizki Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aysouraguán's zone, Sven-Edvin Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaizki Valverde came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes Aysouraguán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomir Pionek kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaizki Valverde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 96th minute of play forced Aysouraguán's goalkeeper Jaizki Valverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Aysouraguán's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Aysouraguán may have spent more time on the ball, but GuateFortín were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
