Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Hori in the 35th minute of play. Cirilo Virila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. Herbert Pluciennik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Bernhardt Reshauge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimír Šmicer in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Pluciennik made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Eusébio Pelé tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernhardt Reshauge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Virila in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved 11ABRASIL from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Cirilo Virila got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dino Zoff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernhardt Reshauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by German Birila in the 59th minute. Cirilo Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Cirilo Virila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Bernhardt Reshauge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sαηgrε Azuɭ from getting a goal against them. Alvise Macchia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Sαηgrε Azuɭ booed when 11ABRASIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Macchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, 11ABRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Casco came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Conrado Rodriguez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dino Zoff. If Conrado Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Conrado Rodriguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conrado Rodriguez ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans cheered their team off the field, for while 11ABRASIL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
