An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Colas in the 5th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Augusto Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Benjamin Roldanillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belfegor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Roldanillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marten Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Ellande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Roldanillo in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Manuel Morais tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fede Gomes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Fede Gomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fede Gomes made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alvaro Abar sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Roldanillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Ellande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Roldanillo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Benjamin Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes got control of the ball when Alvaro Abar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fede Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Morais in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marten Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. Augusto Ellande made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Marten Palermo sent off a good shot on target. Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Chinto in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marten Palermo got free with Augusto Ellande in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fede Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Abar went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Belfegor FC's Roben Soens was substituted for Eriberto Montel. 69 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goal looked a bit too open when Piotr Zielinski came free, but Augusto Ellande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fede Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Morais in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Mercedes's goalkeeper Augusto Ellande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marten Palermo. Augusto Ellande made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Everardo Colas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Belfegor FC's zone, Manuel Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fede Gomes came out of the goal and Manuel Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Everardo Colas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Augusto Ellande, passed just outside the right post. Marten Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belfegor FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
