The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Vassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacorro Sisquella's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacorro Sisquella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Gieraltowski made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RB Chubut's Juan Sorin. 23 minutes into the match, Real Zipa FC's goalkeeper Raul Hondraita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Deput. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacorro Sisquella in the 27th minute of play. Raul Hondraita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Gustaw Gieraltowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xosepe Celis kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacorro Sisquella in the 38th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

RB Chubut's Gabríel Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Deput in the 57th minute of play forced Real Zipa FC's goalkeeper Raul Hondraita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Real Zipa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Deput came free, but Raul Hondraita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurand Deput scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Hondraita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd match minute, Real Zipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipo Inzaghi to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th match minute, Real Zipa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Gieraltowski to maneuver through the defense. When Americo Morodo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Zipa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Zipa FC's Rai Dorrial got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Real Zipa FC booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Lenertej didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Hondraita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Deput's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute Jurand Deput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Hondraita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match RB Chubut got a corner. Real Zipa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Anselmino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. RB Chubut were victorious despite being under pressure from Real Zipa FC for much of the match.
