In the 15th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Eladio to maneuver through the defense. When Hafız Öztekin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Keep Walking Project fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafız Öztekin couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kořán in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Keep Walking Project defense, Ramiro Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Xabier. The Keep Walking Project fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Xabier should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Maghiran came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Racing Club made a substitution. Epifanio Txomin replaced Dario Opilano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel-Andrés Messi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Marian Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keep Walking Project's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Maghiran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Nevada. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Samuel Nevada hit a great ball. With a little luck, Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo got control of the ball when Marian Maghiran tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Marian Maghiran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Cordearo. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Miroslaw Jajecznica got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Epifanio Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Xabier. Keep Walking Project's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Maghiran in the 74th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Keep Walking Project booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Marius Bernea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
