The supporters of Reall Madrid Marienburg booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Claudinho Barros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Olgierd Niedzwiecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ramiro Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Rocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Racing Club's Dario Opilano in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Reall Madrid Marienburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boleslaw Banach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Mario Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Opilano in the 35th minute of play forced Reall Madrid Marienburg's goalkeeper Amadeo Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Silban in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mario Silban got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amadeo Rocio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amadeo Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Dario Opilano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Rocio having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Txomin to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Reall Madrid Marienburg's zone, Epifanio Txomin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rocio came out of the goal and Epifanio Txomin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Bartuelo. Wang Qian Kuan, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Wang Qian Kuan put in a rough tackle. Racing Club's Miroslaw Jajecznica was substituted for Ramiro Lano. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reall Madrid Marienburg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Amadeo Rocio, was totally fooled by Racing Club's Samuel Nevada, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Epifanio Txomin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeo Rocio came out and tried to block the shot, but Epifanio Txomin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Niedzwiecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Rocio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Txomin's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Reall Madrid Marienburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Nevada ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Nevada got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amadeo Rocio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 91st minute of play forced Reall Madrid Marienburg's goalkeeper Amadeo Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Reall Madrid Marienburg's Amadeo Rocio got control of the ball when Miroslaw Jajecznica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reall Madrid Marienburg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Epifanio Txomin 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Racing Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
