After taking down the ball on Shuspendemo's corner Gaspar Ihazintu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Cordairo quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Copetonas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno da Mata in the 45th minute of the match. Mihail Tihomirov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After having played for 62 minutes, Venancio Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shuspendemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Kepa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Cordairo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Venancio Kepa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Cordairo. The goal made the score 1-2. Ismael Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Ospin in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Copetonas AFC got a corner. Shuspendemo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shuspendemo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
