The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermano Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Máximo Laureano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Volpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hermano Campelo hit a great ball. Máximo Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Volpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Squadra de Pippe were awarded a corner. Nedim Üster went to the cornerflag to take it. When Squadra de Pippe's Cristoforo Volpe in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terceirense F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Fan Xi Hong made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gentil Setúbal sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo Volpe in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Laureano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Rukszcz in the 38th minute of play. Máximo Laureano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Volpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lukasz Rukszcz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Squadra de Pippe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukasz Rukszcz couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gentil Setúbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Gentil Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Squadra de Pippe's Fabio Bosco was substituted for Boruc Gongolewicz. In the 60th match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentil Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Máximo Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Rukszcz in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stanislovas Skripkauskas came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes Terceirense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nedim Üster who took care of the corner kick. Nedim Üster made a great header on Squadra de Pippe's corner, it was just that Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Squadra de Pippe getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Lukasz Rukszcz hit a great ball. Leonel Ventura hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Fan Xi Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Gabriel Távora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fan Xi Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lukasz Rukszcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lukasz Rukszcz struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Máximo Laureano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra de Pippe. In the 96th of the match, Pastor Ellow tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Máximo Laureano got in the way and made a wonderful save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Gabriel Távora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Távora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fan Xi Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
