The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lazaros Zoumakis kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Undertaker's goalkeeper Vassilis Chatzipetrou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vassilis Chatzipetrou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute of the match Literarios Borgeanos FC got a corner. The Undertaker's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Arotza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Arotza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vassilis Chatzipetrou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Patricio Rius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themos Serifis in the 11th minute. Alejandro Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Themos Serifis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Patricio Rius made a huge save. Vassilis Chatzipetrou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Endura in the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Michalis Athanasopoulos could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Patricio Rius however easily saved by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Literarios Borgeanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Tzanetakos came free, but Patricio Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazaros Zoumakis scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Rius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Literarios Borgeanos FC's Moises Salvidor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Moises Salvidor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Literarios Borgeanos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Moises Salvidor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of The Undertaker booed when Literarios Borgeanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazaros Zoumakis took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Rius. Patricio Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Alejandro Endura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Undertaker's Vassilis Chatzipetrou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvio Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Chatzipetrou having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Literarios Borgeanos FC's Patricio Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Tzanetakos in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Silvio Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vassilis Chatzipetrou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Akis Tzanetakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akis Tzanetakos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Undertaker's Akis Tzanetakos got a free kick in the 76th minute. Patricio Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Tzanetakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Lazaros Zoumakis's late challenge caught a Literarios Borgeanos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lazaros Zoumakis helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazaros Zoumakis in the 82nd minute of play forced Literarios Borgeanos FC's goalkeeper Patricio Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thymios Kandarakis took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Rius. Patricio Rius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 85 played minutes Literarios Borgeanos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Cresencio. After recieving a nice pass, The Undertaker's Marinos Simeonidis tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Literarios Borgeanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Tzanetakos came free, but Patricio Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Tzanetakos in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, The Undertaker's Thymios Kandarakis made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Rius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Literarios Borgeanos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
