When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Douglas D Agostino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Witek. In the 11th minute, Mircea Rednic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Douglas D Agostino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Douglas D Agostino managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas D Agostino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Witek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Douglas D Agostino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Witek came out of the goal and Douglas D Agostino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Douglas D Agostino in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brufoss IL's goalie prevented a goal. Brufoss IL's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Douglas D Agostino 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas D Agostino in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas D Agostino in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Witek saved Brufoss IL from getting behind. Douglas D Agostino might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Witek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas D Agostino ran back to his position shaking his head. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas D Agostino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Markham to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Saltnes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Borys Dudek tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Douglas D Agostino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Borys Witek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas D Agostino in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Paşa Borlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Douglas D Agostino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Douglas D Agostino put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's Are Høiby was substituted for Jan-Kenneth Heistad. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebati Rafih in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Dănilă in the 90th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luca Dănilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Are Høiby fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Are Høiby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Are Høiby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
