Sezai Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Duda in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sérgio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Yura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lokomotiv Bornova's Ahmet Korcan Gökalp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teo Marino but with some difficulty. In the 44th minute, Germanas Judeikis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teo Marino. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Tigana in the 46th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Sezai Yura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Lokomotiv Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alp Eren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ booed when Lokomotiv Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 97 minutes, Germanas Judeikis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germanas Judeikis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lokomotiv Bornova were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ for a fine match.
