Arcadio Buendia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Snider in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Xacintu in the 8th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonín Orlík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Alonso Snider put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arcadio Buendia. San Antonio HotSPURS's Cesar Donio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonín Orlík in the 21st minute of play. Antonio Corley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Arcadio Buendia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cesar Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonín Orlík in the 24th minute of the match. San Antonio HotSPURS were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Grosso United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artemio Norino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Snider got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arcadio Buendia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Corley got free with Arcadio Buendia in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Alejo Bastiaro with Mauro Mendez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Weldon Gibbs hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonso Snider stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in San Antonio HotSPURS's zone, Antonín Orlík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Donio came out of the goal and Antonín Orlík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, Grosso United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Alejo Bastiaro in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by San Antonio HotSPURS's Max Paquette. Brandon Bayart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Cesar Donio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Weldon Gibbs hit a great ball. Grosso United made a substitution. Reynaldo Pietro replaced Ulises Gartzen. 68 minutes in the game Alejo Bastiaro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Antonín Orlík. 69 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonín Orlík. In the 71st minute Alonso Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Max Paquette fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio HotSPURS's protests and gave Max Paquette a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Max Paquette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Donio made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Antonín Orlík sent off a good shot on target. After 83 played minutes San Antonio HotSPURS got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Corley. Brandon Bayart's late challenge caught a San Antonio HotSPURS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Bayart helped the player get up and apologised. Brandon Bayart kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grosso United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Norino was slow to take the kick. During this time San Antonio HotSPURS's players had a chance to rest. Micah Alston made a great header on San Antonio HotSPURS's corner, it was just that Grosso United's Arcadio Buendia managed to reach the ball for a save. Leroy Vega struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Arcadio Buendia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Antonio HotSPURS.
