Egídio Ortiz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Ferdinand Seremet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillo Azuleño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Seremet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hílton Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Seremet's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Seremet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lázaro Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hílton Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Dolfos in the 35th minute of play. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Dolfos in the 36th minute of the match. Hílton Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Seremet to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Seremet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Hílton Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Potrerillo Azuleño's Arne Kråk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Branco in the 78th minute of play. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ferdinand Seremet sent off a good shot on target. When Egídio Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botinho FC's protests and gave Egídio Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Botinho FC's Egídio Ortiz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Hílton Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Seremet in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's Cássio Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Kråk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Seremet in the 98th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Potrerillo Azuleño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Botinho FC throughout the match.
