The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustino Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Mareș in the 5th minute of the match. Petrică Dragu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Özcan Refah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pauli Palander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faustino Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Mareș in the 18th minute of play. If Marius Levința had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Marius Levința came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Vlashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Levința couldn't finish the play. Faustino Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Dragu in the 22nd minute of play. Faustino Horado came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Vlashers's Ernest Mareș. But to his dismay, Ernest Mareș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Narciso Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pauli Palander made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Narciso Xabat sent off a good shot on target. Özcan Refah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Pauli Palander made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Joel Asier got a free kick in the 40th minute. Faustino Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Dragu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vlashers's Pauli Palander got control of the ball when Narciso Xabat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustino Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Mareș in the 47th minute of the match. A collision led to ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Özcan Refah hit a great ball. After the first half Vlashers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marius Levința made the kick off in the second half. Vlashers's Romeo Giurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Horacio Confesor hit a great ball. The supporters of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Dragu didn't get a good kick on the ball. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ made a substitution. Aurelio Laurgain replaced Gaspar Chuse. After a rather tough play, Vlashers's Petrică Dragu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Pauli Palander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Xabat in the 66th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Faustino Horado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vlashers's Pauli Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Refah in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Faustino Horado got control of the ball when Ernest Mareș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucky Luciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ernest Mareș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Mareș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Levința got free with Faustino Horado in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Ernest Mareș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Horado came out of the goal and Ernest Mareș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Petrică Dragu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vlashers booed when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Romeo Giurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Horacio Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Su Liang Le during the 91st minute.
