Allard Borgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gong Qi Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allard Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jabier Igual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisc Buteanu scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Elmhuus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute of the match, Gong Qi Fan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allard Borgman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A sloppy throw-in by Dorin Mercescu in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Qi Fan got free with Allard Borgman in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allard Borgman was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Cristi Sabău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Elmhuus having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allard Borgman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Playa Malvín were awarded a corner. Stelian Murgu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stelian Murgu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C Petru B.U.C's Allard Borgman did a great save.
